Conducting Voter Registration Drives in Nevada

Voter Registration Drives in Nevada

Anytime an individual or organization requests 50 or more voter registration applications, they must first submit a Mail Distribution Plan. The Mail Distribution Plan is required whether requesting voter registration applications from the respective County Clerk/Registrar or from the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office. All voter registration applications are issued unique control numbers which are tracked by the Secretary of State’s Office as well as by the County Clerks/Registrars of Voters. A copy of the Mail Distribution Plan can be downloaded below.

To ensure the integrity of the voter registration process, any individual or organization conducting a voter registration drive in Nevada must adhere to all statutory regulations. It is the responsibility of an individual or organization conducting a voter registration drive to ensure all participants acting on behalf of such individual or organization are compliant with these statutory requirements. These statutory requirements are set forth in the Guide below.
